Responsibilities
- Demonstrate strong customer service skills; assist customers with financial transactions such as cash withdrawals, deposits, transfers, loan/credit card payments and wire transfers
- Demonstrate strong customer service skills
- Identify fraudulent activity to prevent potential loss to the bank
- Ensure financial transactions are completed accurately and efficiently, while complying with all policies, procedures, and regulatory and banking requirements
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and cultivate new customer relationships
- Cross sell and refer bank products such as (business loans, mortgage) that fit customers’ needs
- Have strong knowledge in using digital resources and technologies to optimize clients’ digital banking experience
- Is confident in educating clients on conducting banking transactions online, via mobile app and self-service portals
- Manage branch operations ensuring compliance with all security and risk protocals
- Demonstrate the ability to learn and adapt to new processes and technology platforms quickly
- May perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required, associate or bachelor's degree preferred or requires 3+ years' experience In lieu of a degree
- 1 year of recent customer service and cash handling experience
- 1 year of previous teller / new account experience in a banking institution preferred
- Ability to learn products, services, and procedures quickly and accurately
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong attention to details and time management skills
- Flexibility to work on weekends when needed

Responsibilities

- · Knowledge of SBA SOP
- · Underwriting SBA loans in accordance with the Bank’s policies and procedures
- · Attend and participate in vetting and credit approval discussions
- · Work with BDOs and Management to perform and document the Bank’s formal credit analysis for new loan requests – this includes credit memo creation, financial spreads, cash flow statements, collateral analysis, global cash flow analysis, support of strengths, mitigation of weaknesses, and eligibility of new and existing credit facilities
- · Be capable of maintaining a mixed portfolio of underwriting new loans, servicing and review requests
- · Request required documentation, financials, etc. from the borrower and guarantors as needed
- · Provide positive and constructive communication to all parties involved in transactions
- · Deliver excellent service to customers both inside and outside the Bank
- · Attend appropriate training to build and maintain expert credit and SBA specific knowledge

- Working Conditions
- · The typical schedule is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Overtime or extended hours may be occasionally required. Work may be in office or hybrid (determined by hiring manager).
- · The employee frequently exchanges information with others and must be able to do so in an effective manner. Must have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, and across a variety of audiences.
